Windows Vista For Dummies

Windows Vista For DummiesNot sure if you’re ready for Windows Vista? Or perhaps you’re already stuck with it? This book should help you figure out Microsoft’s new operating system. Windows Vista For Dummies covers all of Windows Vista’s new features, including the new photo editing tools, powerful search feature, DVD maker, and tightened security.

But it still helps people who know very little about Windows or computing. It explains setting up e-mail in Vista’s new Mail program, burning CDs and DVDs, setting up networks, connecting to the Internet, copying and viewing digital camera pictures, and fixing the most annoying things about Windows Vista.

Hi Andy,

Good book, but shame there aren’t instructions on how to take a screendump, either using prtscrn or the new snipping tool.

This is most useful for fault diagnosis, but relatively time consuming in getting the user to do.

Kind regards
Simon

Simon, you’ll find information on screen captures — copying the entire screen to the clipboard — on page 111. (It’s the second paragraph on that page with a tip icon next to it.)
